Why you should want to join the crew

Team mentality

Lets be honest, every company says this but it ends up feeling unnatural and more-so to describe leadership demanding and subordinates being left to figure it all out, but it makes them feel like its cohesive right? Here, our team is empowered, supported, backed, and helped directly by the owner, Todd Moore. He is very reachable, will consistently check-in to make sure crews have what they need for the project and are taken care of such as bringing water and drinks on hot days when working outside. Are there assigned tasks that need to be completed a certain way by a certain time? Of course there are, but the difference is in the support. Todd is a very down to earth guy and knows what it means to work hard, perform at a high caliber, and have supportive leadership. He also knows how destructive uninvested and poor leadership can be, which is why he personally invests in taking care of his people and helping with projects when his schedule allows. This also includes consistent praise, backing, motivation and recognition of crew members on projects. Success is a team effort, it takes everyone!

Motivation to be the best

No one wants to be known for mediocre or low quality, especially when it comes to craftsmanship. Remodel It, Inc began as TMC Remodeling, LLC but was rebranded due to something out of our control. TMC Remodeling, LLC was known as one of the absolute best for the size of the company and we are extremely motivated to achieve that all over again because we can! Challenges are how growth is achieved so we are excited to take the original foundation and build from it and achieve an even higher level of success, but in order to do that we need passionate, dedicated and skilled craftsmen/craftswomen in our crew. So if you are looking to work with a company that deeply values what you have to offer, appreciates your efforts, is invested in supporting your success and the performance of your duties, then we cannot wait to hear from you and discuss our potential future together!

Equitable compensation

Being paid fairly for what you bring to the table is important to everyone, no reason to avoid the conversation right? So lets be very honest and real when we discuss it. There are important aspects to discuss here, we absolutely want to reach a level at which top performers are compensated incredibly well, motivated crew members are incentivized to keep improving and pursue moving up into leadership roles, and everyone is paid at a very competitive level but that takes time. Do not misunderstand, we pay well, fairly and as competitively as we are able based on skill level. We are not a large operation, which is not a bad thing because it creates a tight knit company, but it means in order to stay in operation pay cannot be as high as larger companies. The vitally important thing to recognize and remember is that as the company grows, so will available funds for higher compensation based on performance. Grow with us and it will pay off, literally and figuratively!

Consistent work

Just because we are not a large company, definitely does not mean we are not busy. Actually on the contrary, we are very busy and we are in need of more skilled carpenters. We have a lot of projects either on going or scheduled and very rarely will the weather fully keep crews from working. There is almost always something that needs done either directly on projects or preparing materials needed for them at the shop. Will there be times that weather days occur? Sure there will be, no point in denying it when we both know it happens. But there are usually other things that can be done to accomodate for the impact of uncontrollable weather. The more crews we have on the team, the more projects that will be available which will further help mitigate the impact the weather can have.
